Our puppies are raised in our home with our family. Which means are puppies are very well socialized. They spend much of their time with children and adults.
For the first four weeks our puppies are weighed daily so we make sure they are growing strong and healthy. Once our puppies are weaned from their mothers they are feed Purina Pro Plan for Puppies under a year. We moisten their food with water and add Esbilac 2 step to make sure they are receiving the proper protein, vitamins and minerals they need to grow strong.
From day 3 to 16 our puppies go through ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction)
What is ENS and ESI you ask?
ENS was first developed by the US Military to improve the performance of future military dogs. ENS introduces puppies to mild forms of stimulation and stressors. These stimulations can kick start their neurological system and improve their natural abilities. ENS training consist of different body handling exercises. Research has suggested that puppies who have been exposed to ENS training benefit from improved heart health, stronger immune system, and improved hormonal, pituitary, and adrenal system. It also improves tolerance to stress
ESI is a procedure that we do that helps puppies with their nose awareness and confidence. The puppies are held closely to us while being introduced to different smells. It enhances their ability to identify and react to scents. It creates a more aware and alert dog, which in return makes an even better companion, service, and therapy dog. It has been proven to dramatically increase their scent ability later in life.
We also do sound desensitization for our puppies. Sound desensitization is a simple way of teaching our puppies how to be calm during loud noises. Our puppies are introduced to loud noises in a peaceful happy environment.
Our puppies begin pan training as soon as they transition from nursing to puppy food. This is the beginning stages of teaching your puppy to become potty trained.
Our puppies are crate trained. They are encouraged to explore their crate which creates a positive environment with the crate.
